Historic Farmhouse Remodel

This 200 year old historic farmhouse sits on a large farm in Shelby, NC and is still in the process of undergoing a full remodel. Throughout the remodel, the homeowners wanted to preserve the historic value of the home. The kitchen cabinets are new but they are made of 100+ year-old heart pine. The kitchen is part of the original structure of the home and the other spaces were added during the remodel. Throughout the project, you will see some of the original elements of the home that have been refurbished. Farm sinks, shiplap, etc. are used throughout the home to keep the farmhouse style alive. Although not yet done, the homeowners could not be more pleased with the renovation so far.
