Historic Newtown Kitchen
In historic Newtown Borough, this light and bright kitchen combines Arts & Crafts details with crisp painted base and tall cabinets. Quartersawn oak wall cabinets, light stained with a flat sheen, have a plain flat panel door with beaded inset styling. The buffet is quartersawn oak in its entirety, with a white Carrera marble top and full splash, reminiscent of built-in cabinetry of the era. In contrast, french vanilla painted cabinets have a more stylized door with applied molding detail, but are also beaded inset construction. Counter tops are honed absolute black granite; notice the integral drain board next to the farm sink.
