This landscape was developed immediately following construction of this Newcastle Homes project + features light steel terraces, native aggregate materials, zoysia turf-covered landforms, along with steel grate thresholds across dry creeks at two points.

Beneath the shade of a massive pecan tree, dry creeks pick up storm water + create a connective seam that ties together the landscape from patio terrace, to limestone gravel path, turf-covered landforms + planted areas (to be completed at a later time).

The steel grate in the foreground allows comfortable passage across the landscape's main storm water drainage feature. The crushed limestone between the dry creek and the steel terrace is contoured like a naturally-occuring creekside gravel deposit.

The view of the landscape from the home's interior is tied together by regionally native materials + the undulating green landform that bounces along on the far side of the dry creek.
