This is one of my soul projects, a milestone in my professional life.
We started to work together in 2011 for redesigning the hotel. we worked gradually because they could not close the hotel. The first project was the redesign of the reception, after that we transformed the space that they had for events and breakfast into a nice restaurant. Meanwhile we extended the hotel with a new wing where in the groundfloor we put the ballroom for all the events that they are organizing. On the semi-basement we designed a confference room, some offices and a spa center with a jacuzzi, wet and dry saunas, emotional showers, a salt sauna, a massage room, changing rooms and bathrooms. Most of the furniture is custom made on my designs.
In four years the project was ready and the little transit hotel was transformed into a nice 4 stars level hotel appreciated by tourists from all over the world who are visiting the amazing Maramures county.
