Let's begin where many of my stories do: the walls... In the main lobby, all the walls are venetian plaster with a wax finish. Now, look up. Yes, the beams and the entire ceiling were refinished too! When we got there, the ceiling was a very yellow pine. By the time we left, they were limed and gessoed. The fireplace received a little TLC of its own by way of a new stain.
