Iconic Sconset Home

This 1920's rambling home bellows out for large family living that connects spaces and nooks for all kinds of interaction during the summer breezy restful days. The colors depicted and faux treatments on the walls executed and designed by Mary Emery tell a story of island living at it's best. The old sleeping porch received a shingled wall application and designer Donna Elle needed to restore the newly installed 'yellow' cedar shakes to a faux wash of driftwood weathered grey making the wicker porch a space that's 'been there' forever. Sensitive to her clients nuances and lifestyles, Elle captured a feeling that is throughout the home a very laid back, simple and breezy like environment for all ages and stages!
