A designer struggled to find decor for an office that would speak to its diverse client base. Drawing on my work experience in 22 countries, I provided these glass “poems” made up of gates, which offer a rhythmic accent. While not culturally specific, the poems engage visitors with a variety of shapes and line, using the symbolic language of open gates to welcome them.
