Demolishing an existing house to make room for a garden. The old basement slab and walls were used to give a feeling of an outdoor room with privacy. The adjacent hillside was then planted with a collection of Japanese Maples, Ferns & Groundcover. Artifacts from the clients travels have been incorporated into the space as well.
