Ipe, Pau - Lope Deck with Cable Rails. This Highland Park Client was interested in updating there 30 year old deck. We happen to be the original builder and the new owners called us to review how to update the deck. We saved and added on a Wolmanized frame and then installed the Best Hardwood using Ipe, Pau-lope hardwood. The floor is a 1 by 6 set with stainless steel screws. The rails are Hardwood 4 by 4 posts with Feeney Stainless steel cables to provide a rail with a 1 by 6 Ipe top drink ledge.
