We started with an empty space, a few furniture pieces from a previous home and a goal to blend an eclectic and worldly collection of artwork and accessories with new furnishings creating a space for entertaining guests, or just simply sitting and enjoying. After preparing a floor plan for the living room, and moving their existing chairs and lighted cabinet to the adjacent sitting room, the space was artfully appointed with perfectly scaled furniture pieces reflecting a well-balanced symmetrical layout focusing on the fireplace and views out to the backyard. The art wall installation reflects the eclectic style of the homeowners and is reminiscent of their adventurous personalities.
