This formidable 4 foot x 4 foot square features a plethora of colors, shapes, and emotions in signature Jon Allen fashion. Abstractions flow in blues, greens, yellows, shades of peach, purple, orange and earthtones making for a bold statement piece that manages to feel as warm as it is contemporary-modern. Each complex layer of color, shapes, and handmade textures are interesting enough to stand alone but achieve true cohesion together. Though it would be vibrant even if it were on a plain canvas, the added dimension you will enjoy with this piece is it's mesmerizing interplay with light. Aluminum’s naturally reflective nature enables each color, shape, and stroke to reach its full potential. ABOUT THE COLLECTION
The Jon Allen Collection is an exclusive, hand-selected group of my most personal work to date. Each piece is hand-painted on aluminum. My art itself and my chosen medium, aluminum, are blissfully married. You may not think of the word organic when you hear the word metal, but this is some of my most organic art and that’s simply because metal allows my work to achieve true sentience. Some of these pieces are truly abstract while others are modern takes on traditional landscapes, marine life, and portraits. I hope you enjoy them a fraction of how much I enjoyed creating them. Materials: Painted with Jon Allen's signature paint he has developed over 20 years as a metal artist, 'Jubilation' is painted on aircraft grade aluminum. In addition to its highly reflective look, Jon loves working with Aluminum because it is rust proof and non-corrosive by nature. Each piece also receives a clear coat with UV protection that also helps it resist scratches.
Care & Cleaning: Clean with a soft cloth and plain soap & water. We suggest you wear white cotton gloves when installing the piece to avoid fingerprint smudges.
Other Features: Hardware is pre-installed for simple hanging. Aluminum is lighter than other metal artwork you may have handled in the past and is gentle on your walls.
