Kelso

This bathroom was converted from two spaces separated by a pocket door into a congruent space with a contemporary/modern feel. The space is highlighted by the freestanding bath tub and the cabinetry. The same material from the floating vanity was used to create a space separator between the tub and the toilet for privacy. To save on space and cost, a wall fixture with extended spout was set in the millwork. The display openings in the space separator allow natural light from the other window. The floor tile was placed over Schluter Ditra Heat for a warm floor. A simple 4x8 tile was used in the shower and on the wainscot to tie all the spaces together. Schluter Quadec trim was used to trim all the tile edges for a more modern finish. Dark grey quartz is used for the vanity top, and two single hole faucets. The vanity area is finished off with a full height mirror with modern LED fixtures floated on the glass.
