Kensington Kitchen

This remodeled kitchen combined the existing dining room and kitchen to create a new open floor plan including a 48" refrigerator and 8' long center island with range and seating for 4. Four new casement windows overlook the backyard and a new farm or apron front sink is the center focal point. oil rubbed bronze accents complete the look.

The expanded kitchen now features a wide expanse of windows overlooking the backyard, an efficient work triangle, a separate wet bar/coffee bar area and loads of storage. The combination of wood floors, white cabinets, and marble and wood counters exemplify that keeping it simple works!!

Utilizing a first floor Den, the Dining room was moved to the front off the house and the kitchen was expanded within the footprint of the house. The 6' wide opening created the connection between the kitchen and dining room.
