This basement was underused by a large family. The client wanted a space for their young and teenage children as well as adults to enjoy. We redesigned the fireplace with a custom build-out and multi-colored glass tile. We choose a bold color for the sofa and grounded it with neutral carpet and warm golden walls. Custom window shades, a grasscloth wallpapered niche for the TV and patterned sofa pillows round out the needed texture and in this space.
