This project started with an unfinished basement in a newer home. 600 SF of area was finished to have a rec room, kitchenette, play room, study, and bathroom.

Between the stairs and the bathroom areas, we ended up with this narrow arrow adjacent to the play room. We elevated the floor to give it some interest.

This is actually the area beneath the stairs that was challenging to make use a functional adult space but works well for a children's play area
