This client had a builder's spec home that lacked personality and a functional kitchen. The lighting was lacking, the cabinets were dated, and the layout didn't work. We borrowed space from the dining room to expand the footprint to allow for a 'U' shaped layout with enough room for an island. To give the appearance of more light and space, we added a bay window at the kitchen sink.
