King Eider - Lot 47

Originally platted for attached twin homes, a development group re-platted the lots in this small subdivision, creating single family residences. Due to the small size of each lot, the homes needed to be custom designed to make the most of available views and to hide the views of adjacent homes.

This home lies on a .22 acre perimeter lot with stunning vistas of mountains to the west and northwest necessitating the design of an open layout with the main living areas in the back of the house where the roof soars upward to the view wall.

The 1,876 square foot first floor living space includes the open music, living, and dining areas, the kitchen, a study, and two bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The laundry is just off the kitchen, in the mudroom that is adjacent to the two-car garage.

A spacious master suite occupies the 632 square foot second floor and includes an entire wall of shelving dedicated for the owner’s library.

Off the master bedroom is a deck for relaxation with commanding views of the mountain range to the west. It’s a great place to read a book or for the owners to enjoy a glass of wine and conversation while taking in a beautiful sunset.

The well-thought out master bath has two vanities separated from the bathroom which includes both a walk-in shower as well as a tub. High windows provide natural light and views but afford privacy.
