The challenge was to take down the wall from the family room to create an open environment and be able to enjoy family and friends well working in the kitchen.
It was essential that the family room married well with the kitchen. Thus the island was stained the same colour as the family room cabinetry. The results were perfect for the homeowners. A beautiful working kitchen, flowing into a family room with a cozy fireplace.
