Kitchen & Bath | Private Residence | Cranston
This 1900's historical home set in the Edgewood section of Cranston went through a major overhaul. Walls were removed to create an open kitchen and dining area for ease of entertaining. The space was previously sectioned off by walls and swinging doors, common in this era home. We opened up the kitchen a created a huge sit-up-island for gatherings, easy weekday breakfasts and an intimate experience with the chef. We moved the table and lighting further into the dining are and created more storage by adding a designated beverage and serving bar. The pure white cabinetry and countertops really brightened up the space and allowed us to go bold with the flooring, gold accents and untraditional subway tile orientation. We buried the fridge between tall pantry cabinets that maximized the storage capacity for this kitchen.
