This charming house had many wonderful updates but it was missing a beautiful kitchen that it deserved. The Family asked me to help them with designing their outdated kitchen and some decorating as well. As soon I saw the space, I knew exactly how I want to see it when it was fully completed.
Working with the family, asking them many valuable questions regarding plans, layout, colors,style and budget, it was very important to find the best possible results for them. I wanted them to love their kitchen!
If you look at some pictures before and after, you will realize how beautiful and functioning this kitchen became after the project was completed. It took a lot planning , hard work and confidence to see this kind of results.
In the dining room area, I strongly believed that adding a butcher block(walnut wood) and shelving with the same material, will create a beautiful balance between the kitchen and the living room.
Adding a round table with mid-century modern chairs allowed the space look larger and well balanced .
Freshly painted walls with light taupe in the kitchen and dining room and light grey in the living room area brought a perfect ending touch.
