Kitchen with tiger maple and angled cabinets
An antique looking peninsula with drawers and doors on the living-room side holds an antique apothecary and is stained to match. The other side of the peninsula is soapstone sink and countertop.
The kitchen run ends on the opposite wall with a tiger maple desk area and a tv cabinet above. The kitchen turns toward an entry way and there is a bay window. We decided to build a couple angled cabinets to play off the bay window and to allow more flow through the kitchen. The crown molding is also angled and plays off of this angled theme. One of these cabinets almost looks like a bay window itself sticking out of the wall.
