Here you can see the clear 3" reveal bevel cedar lap siding and the 5" reveal #1 grade cedar shakes. Take note of the laced inside and outside corners on the cedar. This is high quality work right here!

Take note of the flare out detail over the mid level band board. Yet we managed to ensure all the shakes were straight as an arrow

Once finished we installed a custom milled crown molding that matched the original under the flared out shakes on top of the band board.

Custom made cedar knee braces that are carbon copies of the original 100 year old knee braces we removed.

Fir 1x4 tongue and groove decking for the front entry.

Pump jack scaffolding set up to restore all the 3rd story wood work before new stucco is applied.

Unfortunately due to the heritage designation the same colour scheme had to be maintained. Would've loved to have a transparent stain on all this to show off our exceptional wood work.

Although it was a ton of work, this was one our favorite projects. The detail required from us was unreal, but we definitely delivered.

Take a look at the crown moulding on the window headers, complete with small returns back to the wall and custom made head flashings to keep everything waterproof.

Take a look at the deck detail here. We have two levels of band and a crown molding integrated with a proper drainage system that allows any all water to drain out from under the deck if it manages to ever work it's way in.

These posts and railings were a lot of work and involved custom milled cedar for the railings, and extensive use of creezone (smooth plywood) with miter joints running up the entire lengths of the corners. Everyone loved how this turned out. Very high quality work
