This space in a Los Angeles home was a true makeover. The previous owners had boarded up the windows with dark wood paneling and mounted their TV over it. We removed the built-in and exposed the window, adding built-in shelves and a bench with storage around it. We kept the furniture light and cozy with a large sectional to fit tons of guests.
