The Goal was to re-imagine what you expect of a Lake Home and move towards a Design with simplified lines and natural materials that create a clean and calming aesthetic. Subdued Colors that were taken from the landscape are introduced seamlessly throughout the interior. Importance was placed on scale and architectural details. From the Vaulted Wood Ceiling to Stained Door Jambs that extend past the door casing, to the large custom iron windows that frame the view of the lake to the multiple outdoor living spaces - the intent of this home was to create a retreat for the clients to relax and enjoy the lake.
