This project rests on a spring fed lake north of downtown Houston. Our initial site visit found the rear garden complete with a kidney shaped pool and various elements that had been added on to the garden space over the years.
The new pool design related to the architecture and the desires of the current residents to open the view to the lake beyond while providing the benefits of a pool. The old pool was demolished and excavated to allow for new placement of this pool. The clean planting and lawn grass palette mirror the intent of the design simplicity.
