Lancaster Residence

Set in beautiful Burkeville, Richmond, this lovely couple, and now friends, are amidst a plethora of birds, frogs, and all sorts of bugs. They hired us to design a front yard that not only enhanced the appeal of their home but that was also a sanctuary to all the wildlife nearby. Beautiful people and beautiful goals. We had a blast working together. We show photos of before, during construction, one year after construction and most recently, photos from July 2016, a mere two years after installation. What a joy seeing the garden grow.

We retained the site's crown jewel, the black pine. And with that in mind we assured that our planting selections would fully enjoy the shade they would receive in the afternoon.

This bird bath is off duty today but we've been told it gets plenty of use on a daily basis. We scared the birds away with our camera lenses ;)

When we were there the garden smelled delightful and it was fully energized with the bustling of bees on every plant. It is a glorious experience. We fulfilled on Mother Nature's intention and created jobs for our planet's hardest workers ;).
