The owner wanted his multi unit Spanish Hacianda to have public space and private space for him to entertain guests. The front planting is all drought tolerant succulents including Aeoneum, senecio, various aloes, beaucarnea, echeverias, kalanchoe, agave and a groundcover of thyme, the central courtyard was slightly Asian inspired, and the private entertainment garden was more tropical with layers of planting.
