Lederach Residence
The clean lines of this mid-century modern home serve as the nucleus for additions and renovations. The improvements transform this hillside residential enclave, into a private art museum.
The steep topography required the construction of a new public entrance, close to parking for the museum’s visitors. The entry also serves as catalyst for a new processional path up the hill. Guests perambulate through two naturally illuminated spaces, housing a stunning art collection. At the end of the journey, the guests reach the newly renovated privacies of the existing home.
