Lister residence-Landfall

The shingle style home was inspired by memories the client had of growing up on the coast of New England. Large box columns, Eave brackets. and deep rakes distinguish the elevation.

The office which is on axis with the foyer, projects it's form from the elevation of the home. The radius window wall gives the office a quality unique to the home. The oval window carries the foyer view half the width of the house and to the outside.

The fireplace surround is made from river rock set in a deep setting bed. The beams are antique and recycled from the Cape Fear river. Planed and whitewashed, the mantle is also an antique plank of cypress, whitewashed.
