This was an older kitchen with cherry stained cabinets . The client wanted to update their kitchen and family room but were on a very tight budget. To achieve this and stay in their budget we chose to paint the cherry cabinets white, update the hardware , flooring and lighting. We kept most of the original layout but added the the bar for for additional storage. In the family room painted the walls, Benjamin Moore "Stonington" we updated the wall to wall carpeting from a shag to a wool loop pile rug and switched out the furniture.
