This album shows how the Deck Restoration Plus Team restored this beautiful log cabin in Medford Lakes, NJ. The back story is this home was sold to new owners with VARNISH on the exterior. Varnish is meant for interior use. Originally it looked "shiny and beautiful" until 2 years had passed and you can see the peeling mess in the before pictures. We used crushed glass to media blast the finish off the logs. We also replaced all the soffits, installed a new front handrail, re-screened and painted the rear porch, painted the front door, foundation, and the house trim.
