Luxe Maison

All of the trims, mouldings, medallions and even the chandelier were painted and glazed. .

Once black this armoire was moved locations and needed lightening to sit in its new spot. The entire piece was painted inside and out and then distressed. It is a perfect fit in this newly renovated kitchen.

This mirror had been painted a dull white and we re painted with a metallic glaze and brushed with gold highlights.

The dome ceiling is simply hand rubbed with several layers of gold glaze. This finish changes all day with the light and sparkles in the evening with the soft chandelier.

The owner of the chair had a great vision. The wood was covered with silver leaf and then we also added an antique glaze. He then sent the chair to be reupholstered and voila a real period piece resurrected!!

The entry to a beautiful home was copper leafed and aged with artist's oil paint to create a an aged patina.

The drywall in this renovated guest bathroom was elevated with a beautiful texture finish glazed in metallic washes.

The woodgrain on the walls is not meant to fool the eye, it simply is in keeping with the color and texture of the surrounding wood features and cabinetry. Non obtrusive and complementary.

This vanity fit the space perfectly but needed a revamp.

These walls were done with a rough looking texture (though it feels soft and without snags). It was glazed to bring out the texture and clear coated for protection.

This dome is at the top of the stairs and can be seen from the entryway on the first floor. It was done with silver leaf and then brushed and sealed lightly with gold glaze.

Many of the lights for this brand new build were redone with real silver leaf. The light fixtures instantly became contemporized.

When God created Adam is a top choice from Michealangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling. Getting the proportions and perspective exactly right on this was not an easy task. The hole in his hip is where the light fixture now hangs.

This butlers pantry has no stone left unturned. The ceiling is copperleaf and then sealed and glazed with artist oil painting to add depth and an aged patina.

The entry to this home has beautiful wooden features and accents and the faux textured ceiling adds even more interest without taking away from the stained glass light fixture.
