Luxury Row Home
The project was a comprehensive interior design of a luxury row home, spanning from the ground level to the fourth floor. The design team worked closely with the client to transform a semi-custom unit in a planned development into a distinctive and highly personalized residence. Rather than defaulting to the standard model home finishes, the designers injected tailored, masculine details throughout the home, integrating custom millwork, sophisticated lighting, clever storage solutions like a hidden scullery, and specialized spaces such as a climate-controlled wine room and a sauna. The careful space planning also included thoughtful lighting strategies and layering of textures to balance open areas with human scale and comfort.
The design inspiration stemmed from the client’s personality and lifestyle; a vintage car enthusiast, world traveler, amateur mixologist, and collector of fine things whose personal style informed the direction of the interiors. The team aimed to reflect his refined tastes—combining contemporary sensibilities with traditional detailing—to create spaces that felt both tailored and timeless. Elements such as hand-blown glass light fixtures and built-in displays for his art collection were chosen not only for beauty but for their narrative quality, bringing the client’s passions into the architectural fabric of the home.
