We were incredibly sensitive to context in this restoration and substantial addition to a 150 year old historic structure, in its conversion to six luxury residential units. Juxtaposing old and new, we utilized glass to express a very light connection to the existing building. Integral to this design was the preservation of an existing courtyard as a refuge for residents from the bustling city, and layouts that offer 3+ exposures, further promoting bright, airy spaces with an abundance of natural light.
