MacArthur Project
We designed our client' entry way along with the living area to make it into distinctive yet cohesive spaces. We repainted their entry way to flow with the eucalyptus green color in the living room. Adding a mid century modern light within the space set the tone for the space. We used the client's existing art and console table and styled it to perfection.
The living space provided an opportunity to break the space into three areas to meet the client's needs. We designed the largest space to entertain, breaking off two other sections -- one to place a piano where the children could take their lessons and practice and the other as a reading nook for these avid readers.
We broke the space with a marble table placed on top of a family heirloom rug to add a personal and sentimental touch to the space. The table served both to entertain and display their many artifacts.
