Custom remodel of a traditional kitchen with artisan farmhouse details in Seattle. The updated light-filled layout allows for new french doors to the patio and grill area. A revised cabinetry and appliance plan in the island area created more usable space while creating a welcoming mudroom off the back entry and a charming eat-in banquette. No exterior walls were moved. Bespoke additions of the farmhouse-style stools and table were designed by Kathleen Glossa Interiors. The lush green exterior landscape gave inspiration for the lightly hued ceramic tile, quartzite countertops and cabinetry colorations. Photos by Aaron Leitz.
