San Diego Friends, if you have ever thought about hiring Susan and her team and you worry it’s too expensive please read my honest feedback. Yes, this a full service firm and in our opinion their services have been worth every penny.
We have worked with Susan and Savvy for years and we always come back because of their professionalism. For years I admired Susan’s work and I dreamed that when we found our next “forever home” I would hire her to work her magic. Well for 2 years we looked for our next home. I often sent messages to Susan asking for her feedback on potential remodels, etc. She was always quick to give me honest feedback. When we found our home exactly 5 months ago I reached out to her initially for a “home refresh” since the home had been completely remodeled by the previous owner. As we visited the home some more we realized the secondary bathrooms had not really been upgraded and they didn’t match the modern look of the house. So we asked Susan to remodel 4 secondary bathrooms for us. In total this is what Susan and her team did for us:
-4 secondary bathroom remodels
-designed and furnished 5 areas (formal living room, formal dinning room, family room, breakfast nook, and guest bedroom)
We are absolutely in love with everything they did. Every single detail was thought out and executed perfectly. We have a 6 year old and almost 1 year old and our home is not only gorgeous, but also kid friendly and safe.
Susan was very honest with us about time frame and budget. Yes, you pay more for a designer, but gosh to us it’s worth every penny. We are 2 busy professionals and we don’t have the talent or the time to do this kind of work. Every time we try to buy our own furniture we end up with the headache of having to return it/exchange it because we typically don’t love it when we get home. None of that happened with Susan and Savvy...we love every single item. We absolutely recommend Savvy and we see tremendous value in their work. They are worth every penny for your space to be done right the first time and beautiful!
One last thing...I love that Savvy is a full service design firm, this is very unique. She has all her own people and they are incredible! Her team took care of every detail and we literally went on vacation for a month while her team did construction in our home. The best thing I did the last 3 months was to communicate “my vision” and to trust her. She pushed me out of my comfort zone on some items and I absolutely love what she did! Just trust her!
