We had so much fun building this man cave! We painted all the walls with 2 coats of Sherwin Williams paint. All nosing was completed for three steps, the area beside the column, the storage area, as well as for the cabinet/closet. The stairs were finished with straight flooring boards and we used zip-out baseboards to install the floor trim. I love the herringbone floor which was installed around the main floor, bed platform, cabinet/closet, and the storage section under the bed. We did the framing for the stairs and storage area and stained all the flooring materials. We completed a lot on this project including the city permits, forming, framing, windows and doors, electricity, thermostat installation, insulation, drywall, shadow mouldings, herringbone flooring, siding, painting, and frameless railings.
