Mansion in May is WAMMC's (Women's Association at Morristown Medical Center) signature fundraiser and most profitable event having generated over $6 million for Morristown Medical Center since its inception in 1974. Fun House Furnishings & Design was invited to participate in the 2012 Mansion in May at Glynallyn Mansion in Morris Township, New Jersey. We created "The Singles Suite," which was all about creating the perfect guest room. It was comfortable for multiple guests. The Pointillist painting style wallpaper with intertwining branches allowed for rhythmic movement and created a perfect backdrop for the two Artisan Poster beds, which sport full headboards and dramatic horizontal stripes. The combination exuded a feeling of warmth and comfort. The Libretto style chairs and ottomans flanked the teal tiled fireplace, allowing for guests to relax, read, and stay warm. The light colored rug, whimsical fabrics and classic wood furniture combined to produce a room feeling rich in organic texture.
