After the stacked-slate tile was installed there was a serious gap in the surrounding sheetrock. I was asked to install the mantle (ordered from a vendor unknown to me) and trim around the whole arrangement.

I was able to tie-into the base trim and wrap the moulding up and around the mantle which covered the awkward gap.
