Upon walking into the home it was clear that this Marblehead family had an appreciation for design, art & furnishings. With the rest of the house having a more mature color palette these rooms were meant to create an environment for the family to gather, relax, watch movies, and for their two girls to play & imagine.
The girls are fun-loving, creative, and artistic so we wanted to give them more vibrant spaces that incorporated just the right amount of color, pattern & natural textures. The spaces also include a ton of their personalities with lots of books and pieces of the girls personal artwork. Organization & storage was key -- installing a long row of built in drawers in the family room provides an ample amount of room for storing just about anything. The addition of trellis wallpaper, simple woven rugs, honeycomb shelving, and mix and match bedding creates a fun layered feel for the everyday.
