Remodel / relocate kitchen in 1960 era track house.. Kitchen was cramped and in a corner of a large family room with no window or natural light.
Removed two non-bearing walls, hall closet and closed up family room door to corridor. Relocated kitchen to exterior corner with sink under a large window. Family room became the new dining area and original dining room was re-tasked as the new family room. New recessed lighting brightened up dark corner near gas fireplace.
