Master Bath Remodel - Historic Home

This master bath remodel required authenticity yet modernization for an historic home. The old footprint was crowded from a 1970's remodel using ceramic tile. The room was dated and in bad condition. The design was brought to life with the original floor - found under layers of linoleum and tile. Custom cabinetry incorporates internationally sourced period stained glass and wood. Detailed cuts on the Marble countertop and black and white marble tile in the level entry shower were honed to create a 1920's appearance. Warm light LED bulbs on an occupancy sensor are by Hubbardton Forge, The bath pendant and wall sconces were designed using antique glass globes. An old barn door rolls open to separate the bath from the re-done master suite. Bronze hardware and light finishes add to the historic feel. Deep sinks, modern toilet and towel warmers, with touch close drawers, add modern elements.
