This home built in 1998 needed a new master bath. The room was demolished down to the studs to create an open concept and maximize use of the space. A curbless open shower stands behind a wall of glass close enough to the window with the view of San Francisco. The freestanding tub is big enough for two, but comfortable for a one-person bubble bath. The bamboo cabinetry and black bamboo-style tile on the black wall infuse the space with serenity. A set of four antique Chinese doors enclose the bidet toilet, and the final touch is a floating make-up cabinet next to the jewelry storage cabinet hidden behind a full length wall mirror.
