Master Bedroom Suite in Little Compton, RI
Lou Lou’s Decor owner, Stacy Carlson designed a complete remodel of a master bedroom and en suite bathroom. The room was designed to be a cozy retreat for the Connecticut couple that enjoys their weekends in the serenity of Little Compton.
Incorporating the blown glass work of Tracy Glover, Stacy Carlson worked with Glover to customize the glass beads in tone and shape to bring color, light, and to create a beautiful focal point behind the bed. There are 30 custom-made hand-blown glass "jewels" by Tracy Glover of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
The palette is an array of gray's, taupe, purple and blue. These colors provide a warm and calming feel for the space. The house is 90 years old, so the design incorporates classic and modern aspects, to remain true to its roots, but still provides an updated look.
