This remodel took an existing house built in the 1960s and completely transformed it into a contemporary and comfortable family home. While the footprint of the house remained unchanged, both the front entry and the kitchen were relocated to improve the overall flow of the house. In addition, the existing flat ceiling was raised and wood rafters added, along with removing a dividing wall, to open up the entire living space of the house. The existing sunken living area and custom couches were retained.
