McClure Kitchen
The homeowners of this lovely Mt. Brook (Birmingham) Alabama home wanted to have a more updated, user and family friendly kitchen. They wanted to stay with a white painted finished cabinetry and keep their existing beautiful hardwood floors.
The existing kitchen had plenty of space for an island where the children and family could gather in the kitchen while meals are being prepared.
They also requested updated lighting and an open view of the backyard and pool area.
We came back with a design which included the island they requested and plenty of storage in the island and additional cabinets.
The cabinets selected were from Midcontinent Cabinetry, door style Villa with white painted finish. The counter tops in the kitchen are carrara marble. The backsplash is brick veneer painted white. New recessed lighting throughout the kitchen with additional lights above the sink. A lovely chandelier installed over the island and under cabinet lighting give that perfect accent lighting needed in the space.
