Mediterranean Modern

Having a very modern Client in a traditional Mediterannean home made for an interesting marriage of styles in this Orange County, CA home! The key was balance acheived through keeping the bones of the house well rooted in the Mediterannean while adding all modern furnishings, decor and accessories. I now pronounce you Mediterannean and Modern!

The up position(s) offer options of TV viewing or chatting in just the right spot. The 'C' tables pull up to the sofa eliminating the annoying need to get out...

With three active kids running around the house, having ottomans instead of coffee table(s) was the most functional choice for comfort and lack of worry about hard edges. No more parents yelling 'get your feet off the coffee table'! Why fight that when we all want to do it!?

You would never know the abuse this dining area takes as the hub of the house filled with an active family of five. The dining table's high gloss finish is an effective coat of armor and the touch leather on the chairs forgiving allies.
