Garage Unit, Austin, Texas

Garage Unit is an adaptive reuse project transforming an existing garage into a 300 SF bedroom apartment unit. The existing mid-century home is perched on a hillside over looking a green belt. The existing garage, located under the house, was transformed into a new compact apartment unit including a generous exterior terrace. The bedroom loft is hung from the floor above. This low budget project incorporates many economical sustainable features.
