Mid-Century Modern Kitchen
This kitchen was originally small and narrow. A wall and cupboard were taken out to open up the space. As the kitchen was narrow a peninsula was put in, instead of an island. The space also includes a coffee station and a larger pantry. All cabinetry goes floor to ceiling. The dining area has a built in bench seat with storage to utilise the space. Mixed metals were used throughout the dining area and kitchen area. Chrome cabinet hardware and brass/gold lighting elevate the space. Wallpaper was used in the dining room to put some color into the otherwise all white kitchen. Blue counterstools also carry the theme of blue through to the newly opened space onto the living area. Real marble backsplash was used in narrow format subway tile.
